For the purpose of drainage and reclamation of the land hereinafter described, and
protecting the same from the effects of water for agricultural and sanitary purposes,
and for public convenience, welfare [and] for public utility and benefit, a drainage
district is hereby created and established in Taylor County, Florida, to exist for
a period of 99 years and to be known as the Warrior Drainage District, the territorial
boundary of which shall be as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Section 18 in Township 5 South, Range 8 East, thence running east 12 miles, more or less, to
the northeast corner of Section 24, Township 5 South, Range 9 East, thence running
south along the range line to the southeast corner of Township 7 South, Range 9 East,
thence running west along the township line to the southwest corner of Township 7
South, Range 8 East, thence running north to the northwest corner of Township 6 South,
Range 8 East, thence running north to the southwest corner of Section 18 in Township 5 South, Range 8 East, thence running north along the range line to the
southwest corner of Section 15, in Township 5 South, Range 8 East, to the point of
beginning first above mentioned.
